What we make at our Cappola Cartwright Ave., location

At our Cappola plant on Cartwright Ave., we make our premium Italian meats using the same artistry and care that the Cappola family passed down from generation to generation. Our dry-cured deli meats, such as salami and prosciutto, are made with the best cuts of meat, natural ingredients and spices, and are cured with time. We also make our Greenfield salami right here! Our Greenfield salami is made from antibiotic-free and gestation-crate-free pork. We age our Raised Without Antibiotics prosciutto for 12 months!

Our story

Continuing the Italian tradition

In early 1867, Camillo Cappola opened a tiny butcher shop in the Italian region of Abruzzo. Over the years, the family craft was passed down through generations of Cappolas, eventually crossing the ocean to Toronto with Camillo’s great-grandsons Lelio and Domenic. Today, we continue to produce premium Italian meats using the same artistry and care that the Cappola family is known for, under the Cappola brand name.
