Curtis Frank is President and Chief Executive Officer of Maple Leaf Foods, an iconic Canadian food company driven by its purpose to Raise the Good in Food and its vision to be the most sustainable protein company on earth.
A passionate, values-driven leader who puts people first, Curtis has built his career at Maple Leaf Foods. Over more than twenty-five years with the company, he has played a key role in bringing its purpose and vision to life, shaping its strategic blueprint, and building a strong values-based culture. He is recognized for leading large, complex businesses with clear strategic judgment, disciplined execution, and a leadership style grounded in curiosity and humility.
Raised on a mixed family farm in Saskatchewan, Curtis brings deep industry knowledge and a lifelong connection to agriculture and food production. Having progressed through increasingly senior leadership roles across the organization, he has developed broad expertise spanning the food business and agri-food industry.
Curtis has a clear vision for the future, with the courage to set bold goals and a passion to deliver on them. Following the strategic separation of the company’s pork business in 2025, he and his team are building on Maple Leaf Foods’ strong foundation as they lead the company into its next chapter as a purpose-driven, protein-focused consumer packaged goods company.
Curtis serves on the boards of Maple Leaf Foods and Canada Packers Inc., as well as the Maple Leaf Centre for Food Security, GS1 Canada, and The Grocery Foundation. He was honored to receive the CFIG Life Member Award in 2023 and was inducted into the Canadian Grocery Business Hall of Fame in 2026. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Regina and lives in the Greater Toronto Area with his family.
