Curtis Frank is President and Chief Executive Officer at Maple Leaf Foods, an iconic Canadian-based food company driven by its purpose to Raise the Good in Food and its ambitious vision to be the Most Sustainable Protein Company on Earth.
A passionate, values-driven leader who puts people first, Curtis has built his career at Maple Leaf Foods. He has been instrumental in bringing the Company’s purpose, vision and leadership values to life, and has played an integral role in shaping the Company’s growth strategies while building its diverse and inclusive culture. His reputation for leading large, complex businesses is uniquely grounded in his intense curiosity and his attention to detail.
Having been raised on a mixed family farm in Saskatchewan, combined with over two decades working his way up through the Maple Leaf Food organization in progressively more senior roles, Curtis has an intimate knowledge of all aspects of the food business and the agri-food industry.
Curtis has a clear vision for the future, with the courage to set bold goals and a passion to deliver on them. He and his team are committed to building on Maple Leaf Foods’ incredible foundation of market-leading brands, world-class assets, leadership in sustainability, and remarkable talent to deliver exceptional results enroute to creating shared value.
Curtis serves on the Board of Directors of Maple Leaf Foods, as well as Boards of the Maple Leaf Centre for Food Security,GS1 Canada and the Grocery Foundation. He attended the University of Regina where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and now makes his home in the Greater Toronto Area with his family.
