Katherine N. Lemon, Ph.D.

Dr. Lemon is the Accenture Professor at Boston College, Carroll School of Management. She is also Immediate Past Chair, and member of the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association, which focuses on marketing excellence and resources for firms and academics. She is the former Executive Director of the Marketing Science Institute, a not-for-profit organization that brings the best of marketing science to management practice; she also served on its Board of Directors. Her research examines key drivers of firm growth from a consumer perspective, developing quantitative models that enable firms to significantly increase return on marketing investments. Her award-winning work has been implemented in organizations worldwide, and she is a globally recognized expert in understanding consumer experience and loyalty. Dr. Lemon has served on the faculty of Harvard Business School, Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. She has taught and conducted research in companies and universities globally, especially focused on consumer goods and services. She has advised numerous public companies and has served on several company marketing advisory boards. She holds a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley.
