As Chief Supply Chain Officer at Maple Leaf Foods since 2025, Mike Yang brings a bold, forward-thinking lens to the company’s end-to-end supply chain and operations. With over 25 years of experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, Mike is known for his transformational leadership and relentless focus on operational excellence. He oversees everything from operations and manufacturing to engineering, purchasing and distribution, driving innovation and resilience across the value chain. Mike also plays a key role in sustainable growth, championing initiatives that reduce environmental impact while enhancing agility and risk mitigation.
Mike previously served as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Technology at Kruger Products. He held progressively senior roles during his time at Kruger Products ranging from Vice President, Manufacturing to SVP, Supply Chain.
During his 17-year stint with Kimberly-Clark Corporation in the United States, Mike moved through seven different assignments and locations with roles ranging from line management to leading operations for several brands. He then joined Irving Tissue, where he managed a large facility in Toronto.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
