Maple Leaf Pork recruiting for Brandon plant Company begins recruiting campaign to attract 1,000 production workers




BRANDON, MB, April 29 /CNW/ - Maple Leaf Pork announced today that it has
officially begun recruiting production employees for its fresh pork processing
plant in Brandon Manitoba. Maple Leaf Pork will be advertising in Brandon,
Winnipeg and the surrounding communities beginning May 1.




"The Maple Leaf Pork Brandon plant will be a truly state-of-the-art facility.
We are looking forward to working with the people of Manitoba to bring the
plant to life and make it truly world-class,'' said Dave Wood, Plant Manager of
Maple Leaf Pork's Brandon plant. "This is a real milestone in the development
of the plant. From the moment we announced we were building the plant in
Brandon, we have received constant requests for information about employment
opportunities. We are now ready to begin accepting applicants.''




Maple Leaf is looking for people who are enthusiastic, energetic, and who want
to put their efforts into ensuring the safe, efficient production of
top-quality, fresh pork products. Previous experience in butchering or a
production environment would be beneficial, but not essential as the company

Maple Leaf Pork will be participating in the Rural Forum from April 29 to May 1
in Brandon. Dave Wood, Plant Manager of Maple Leaf Pork's Brandon Plant will be
available at the Brandon Economic Development booth to talk about the plant and
