Maple Leaf Bakery Appoints new Vice President, Finance

LIVINGSTON, N.J. – Maple Leaf Bakery
is pleased to announce today the appointment of Janice Chivers to Vice
President, Finance effective June 4, 2001.

Chivers is joining Maple Leaf Bakery with an
extensive background in both accounting and bakery management. Her most recent
position is with Rubbermaid Home Products as controller.

Prior to this, Chivers spent eighteen years
with Continental Baking where she held a number of positions including director
of financial controls, corporate manager of planning and analysis and
accounting supervisor.
