Iain Stewart is Chief Supply Chain Officer at Maple Leaf Foods. Iain is focused on leading the operations, engineering, purchasing and supply chain functions in support of the company’s growth plans. In addition to his current role, Iain champions key initiatives to help drive the organization’s commercial and growth agenda, utilizing the Six Sigma processes and rigour acquired early in his tenure at Maple Leaf Foods.

Iain’s career in the food industry spans more than 25 years. He joined Maple Leaf Consumer Foods in 1997 as a Pricing Manager. In 1998, he was promoted to Director of Finance, Sales & Marketing. In 2000, Iain became Director of Financial Analysis and was promoted to Vice President, Foodservice in 2001. In 2005, Iain was appointed Vice President, Six Sigma and in 2008, he assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Food Safety & Transformation. In 2010, Iain was appointed as Senior Vice President, Fresh Meats, where he led the Pork & Poultry Operations. In 2014, Iain was focused solely on the growth and performance of our Pork business before moving in 2019 into his current role.

Prior to joining Maple Leaf Foods, Iain worked for Swift/Gainers where he progressed through a series of increasingly responsible roles in the areas of Distribution, Sales and Office Management.
