Jeff Hutchinson is Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Maple Leaf Foods Inc. In this capacity Mr. Hutchinson has executive responsibility for the Company’s information strategy, solutions, technology, systems, services and associated processes. He also has responsibility for implementing the Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) strategy for Maple Leaf Foods.

Mr. Hutchinson joined the Company in 2010. Prior to joining Maple Leaf, he was Chief Information Officer – North America (CIO-NA) for the global Dannon/Danone corporation and was responsible for their Strategic Program Office.

Prior to Dannon/Danone, Mr. Hutchinson was a senior executive / partner with Accenture (a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company). Mr. Hutchinson demonstrated both strategic and hands-on experience in enabling his European and American clients to achieve greater business value, efficiency and growth from strategic, process and organizational alignment with information solutions, especially in SAP environments.

Mr. Hutchinson believes in establishing strong cross industry network relationships. For example, he is an invited presenter at international conferences and sits on CIO Magazine’s and Consumer Goods Technology’s (CGT) national editorial board of advisors. Most recently, his team at Maple Leaf Foods was recently featured on the cover of CGT for their success in driving change.

Mr. Hutchinson has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University, an MBA from the University of New Haven and a Masters of Science in Software Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is currently a Doctoral student in Computing at Pace University.
